This month’s spotlight is on Intern, Levi Harber
What are you enjoying most about your internship this summer?
- Thus far, engaging with financial planning tools and wealth management platforms has been an intellectually rewarding experience. What I’ve valued most is the opportunity to observe and learn from a range of advisors, each with their own distinct methodologies and philosophies, which has broadened my perspective on effective client engagement and strategic planning.
Besides interning at SWMG, what have been some of the highlights of your time away from school?
- I’ve been using my time away from Vanderbilt to pick up new skills. Most notably, I’ve started learning golf, which has been both challenging and enjoyable.
As you enter your senior year at Vanderbilt University, what is on your mind?
- As an extrovert, I place a high value on relationships, and I’m eager to cultivate new friendships while deepening existing ones to enrich what has already been a meaningful and intellectually formative experience at Vanderbilt University.
If you could pick your dream future job, based on what you know today, what do you think it would be? Why?
- I would continue pursuing a career in wealth management, as I believe the depth of relationships and the lasting impact you can have on a client’s life through a holistic, consultative approach is truly unparalleled.
What is one fun fact about you that always surprises people?
- I earned a scholarship to play Division 1 football at Vanderbilt University.
