What do you like most about being a wealth advisor?
I love having the ability to make a positive impact on clients’ lives and helping them achieve their financial goals. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is building lasting client relationships and playing an integral role in helping them achieve major financial milestones like financial independence and a comfortable retirement.
What do you have planned for the summer?
I recently joined a golf league and look forward to playing more golf this summer. I’m also looking forward to spending time with my family traveling to northern Michigan and a trip to Colorado this summer.
What are a couple of important lessons you have learned as a wealth advisor at SWMG?
We’ve, unfortunately, had several clients pass away in the last year. Having a plan and a team in place that can help when a spouse is gone can be invaluable. Clients are extremely grateful when they know that there’s a plan in place and it’s rewarding to know that I’ve helped play a part in making things easier for them.
If you weren’t a wealth advisor, what do you think you would have done instead?
If I wasn’t a wealth advisor, I would likely be doing something different in the financial industry. I always enjoyed the classes I took in college around finance and investments.
What else do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my son and seeing him get involved in sports that I used to play as a child. I also enjoy traveling with my wife and son, working out, and trying new local restaurants.
