Service & Leadership

Jennie's Money Story

“In school, I was an above-average student and took part in many service opportunities as I knew it was a major area of interest for me. I never had my blinders on as a child and knew of challenges within the community.  I saw those challenges as an opportunity to facilitate change. I quickly became involved in the Key Club in high school, which served as an introduction to the community service focus that I’ve carried into my adult life. At my prior wealth management company, I helped to create a community service focus, and have helped facilitate the very same at SWMG. I believe that being successful is not measured by the size of one’s bank account, but instead the ability to give to those in need. There is an endless need for volunteerism within the Greater Flint community."

Outside of the Office

Jennie can be found spending time with those who mean the most to her: her husband Kelly, daughter Emma, and yellow lab, Chance. Jennie enjoys traveling to their northern Michigan retreat for boating and fun on Vaughn Lake and visiting family and friends in surrounding areas. When she is not hitting the road, she quiets down at home bicycling, baking, making crafts, and other special projects. Jennie’s hometown is Davison, MI and she now resides in Mundy Township.
